A bilingual multimedia journalist covering criminal justice at WPLN News — Nashville Public Radio. I tell stories that hold powerful institutions accountable and put a human face on a system that seeks to dehumanize. I'm also the host of WPLN’s podcast, Deadly Force, which delves into the Metro Nashville Police Department’s use of force policies and training, as well as the relationship between the city’s predominantly white police department and its Black residents. On a typical day, you can find digging through public records, holding my fuzzy microphone up to someone's face at a press conference or obsessively adjusting the audio levels in a podcast mix.
